This movement of people presents a fantastic opportunity to share the gospel. We believe that to make the most of this we need to understand our neighbours’ cultures. This allows us to build bridges to deepen friendships and communicate the gospel more effectively.
We’ve developed this three-part course to enable you to do just that. The course can be run as a one-day seminar or as a series of modules across a number of weeks.
If you’re interested in running this training, contact your local Area Representative.
An introductory session unpacking the opportunities to reach East Asians living in the UK, as well as establishing tools for understanding differences in culture.
Digging deeper into some of the themes of part 1. Exploring the ideas of guilt and shame in many East Asian cultures, and how the religions and worldviews shape everday life and experience.
Drawing on the principles covered in parts 1 and 2 this session explores how differences in culture and worldview shape how people might understand the Bible, as well as how they expect to learn and explore new ideas.
