Our mission is simple: to share the good news of Jesus with the people of East Asia. As well as church work, we get behind a wide range of initiatives including business, student work and medical practice. So we’re looking for all sorts of people – not just full-time Christian workers.
These are the four core areas of our work:
Church Planting and Evangelism
We help teams work alongside local Christians to start churches and share the good news of Jesus. If you’re excited about sharing your faith and have relevant experience, you could be part of a church planting team.
In countries that don’t welcome Bible teachers or evangelists, professional skills can open doors for sharing the good news of Jesus in the workplace. This means you could use your job as a way in to cross-cultural work in East Asia.
OMF workers partner with national student organisations to share the good news of Jesus. If you enjoy working with international students in the UK, you could help reach students in East Asia’s universities.
OMF serves the Church in East Asia by helping to train future leaders for pastoring churches. We do this by working in seminaries and Bible colleges. If you have experience in theological education, you could help equip future church leaders.
