Area Representatives
London and South East

In 2012 they returned to UK where they now represent OMF in London and the Southeast of England. Allen recently completed a PhD which was focused on the ministry of OMF members in West Malaysia in the 1950s, 60s and 70s. They are inspired by the ministry of current OMF members serving in East Asia. They long for more people to hear about the work they are doing and be called to join them.


Dunc has been a part-time volunteer Area Rep since 2014.
His father and grandfather were ministers in the Church of Scotland and Presbyterian / United Reformed Church, respectively, and he came to Christ in 1987.
Following a Masters Degree in Aeronautical Systems from Cranfield University, he spent his working career in Technical and Management Consultancy with a strong focus on data and information analysis.
He is married with a married son (working with another mission organisation) and two young grandsons.
Dunc is currently a Trustee and Ministry Team member at Frimley Baptist Church in Surrey and divides his time between OMF and developing materials to help people ‘Become more like Jesus’.
East of England

Tim recently completed an MA in theology, focussing on the missiological implications of climate change, using it as a way to serve the unreached in the same way as medical missionaries did in the past.
Tim is keen to engage local churches for missional impacts in their local communities and in East Asia. He loves arranging events and taking people out for lunch!
He loves trees and bees and all things natural, rejoicing in God's creation daily.

Wales & West

Nathanael was born to OMF workers in Japan where he gained the
nickname Natch.
After studying Natural Sciences at Durham, he moved to London
where he met his now wife, Anna. After working with UCCF as a staff
worker in London he studied Theology and World Mission at Oak Hill
College. He and Anna then became OMF members in 2010. They spent about
eight years in Sapporo, Japan mainly focused on sharing Jesus Christ
with students.
They now live in Swansea, Wales with their four
children and a menagerie of pets!
Natch is passionate about student ministry and seeing everyone
find their place in God’s great plan to gather an innumerable
multitude from every tribe and tongue to worship the Lamb on the throne!
In his free time, Natch serves as an elder at his church, goes
jogging, takes the dogs for walks and enjoys playing his mandolin.
North of England

Gerard is originally from Lancashire, and after a 10-year career in private forest management in Scotland, studied theology in Glasgow. Sarah grew up in Hampshire and studied Spanish and PGCE in Edinburgh, during which time she met and married Gerard. They joined OMF in 2002 and they spent 10 years in East Asia with their two children.
Gerard completed a PhD in Islamic identity in 2017, and this enables him to teach part-time in several theological colleges. Together with Sarah, they regularly deliver training in cross-cultural ministry and world faiths, and particularly enjoy helping Christians think about Islam and how best to love our Muslim neighbours.
Scotland

Douglas grew up in Dundee, studied in Glasgow, and now lives in Bishopbriggs with his wife and three children. He graduated with a BA in Theology (with Cross-Cultural specialism) at International Christian College in 2006. Douglas served for 15 years in international student ministry based in Glasgow.
Douglas enjoys speaking, preaching and training with all age groups with a special interest in inspiring and equipping local churches in Scotland to share the gospel with the peoples of East Asia across the street and across the world. As an accredited Belbin Trainer, Douglas also provides workshops for church leaders and teams on teamwork and team unity.

Chris was born in Germany to English parents, and was called to East Asia while serving with OM’s ship ministry in Latin America, the Caribbean, and West Africa. He met his wife Sarah while studying at Belfast Bible College for an MTh (through Queen’s University Belfast). They spent 10 years in Central Thailand with OMF, serving the rural Thai church through Bible teaching, discipleship training, sports and children’s ministry. They are now based in Belfast with their three daughters.
Chris loves preaching and speaking on God’s heart for the nations, and is keen to journey alongside churches that want to be engaged in reaching East Asians at home and abroad with the gospel. He is also passionate about music, football, Mexican and Thai food.
