The land of golden pagodas

Myanmar is a largely Theravada Buddhist country, known as the land of golden pagodas. Although still the minority, we believe that the greatest treasure of this nation are Myanmar Christians. As a global fellowship we seek to lift up our Myanmar brothers and sisters in Christ to the end that they know Christ and make Him known in all His fullness.

The Myanmar bible was completed in 1835 by Adoniram Judson and this translation is still the most widely used translation of the bible in Myanmar today. Reading the biography of the life of Adoniram Judson is well worth the time for any believer and especially for those interested in Myanmar.
