East Asia: Rich history,
rapid change.

The countries of East Asia have seen much change. The 20th century, with its political turmoil, two world wars and numerous civil and regional conflicts throughout East Asia, redrew and redefined the region. Today, there are communist states, democratic states, constitutional monarchies and one communist dictatorship. In recent decades, several East Asian countries have emerged as economic and political powerhouses. In some places, the gospel of Christ has transformed communities. But sadly, most of East Asia has not experienced the life-changing power of a relationship with Jesus Christ.
