The College Mobilization Coordinator supervises and develops outreach for those on the Advocacy Team specializing in strategic outreach opportunities throughout the United States on college campuses.

  • Mobilize, recruit and mentor college students for ministry to East Asia’s peoples.
  • Coordinate opportunities to facilitate awareness of cross-cultural needs and involvement locally and globally.
  • Lead a Global Ministry Group to encourage college students towards cross-cultural discipleship.
  • Meet with up to 5-10 college students monthly or bi-monthly to:
    • Demonstrate interest in their lives and spiritual development;
    • Encourage them to purposefully seek their role in God’s plan for the nations; and
    • Direct them to take appropriate next steps in missions involvement.

Compensation

The salary for this position is “support-based.” This means that similar to most OMF (U.S.) based Mobilization Personnel; the Director of College Mobilizers is asked to raise the budget for the position’s salary. This is done by forming a Partnership Team that provides the financial resources and prayers necessary to serve as in such a role. Going through Partnership Development as a homeside staff member decreases the amount of finances that cross-cultural missionaries need to contribute to the U.S. ministry. The salary range for this position is need-based, generally between $2,000 and $4,000 per month.   OMF International will provide training and mentorship to facilitate the Partnership Development process.
