OMF International UK are seeking a new National Director. The National Director will give overall spiritual, strategic, organisational and people leadership in implementing the strategic aim of strengthening OMF UK’s work as a missional hub for sharing the good news of Jesus with East Asia’s peoples in, to and from the UK. This role will commence no later than 1st January 2025 with an anticipated period of handover prior to this date.
The ministry of OMF UK is increasingly being worked out in the UK (for example in diaspora related ministry), and to the UK (as we facilitate the receiving of workers to the UK to join that diaspora ministry and as we serve local churches in welcoming those arriving to the UK – from Hong Kong and elsewhere). All this is being developed alongside our commitment of seeing women and men sent from the UK to serve in East Asia, including through new initiatives such as workplace ministry.
The National Director will be a non-salaried role and they will raise their own personal support.
Applications from individuals, married couples and two people wanting to job share will all be considered.
A virtual information event about the National Director role was held on Tuesday 25th July. This was an opportunity to hear from the current Co-National Directors and Chair UK Board of Trustees about what the role involves. To view a recording of the event please register here.
