Local Action – Global Impact
Bridge Asia is OMF’s volunteer network. Teams around the UK connect churches and individuals with the exciting things God is doing in East Asia and inspire them to get involved.
We’re looking for more people to join these teams because we believe there’s a place for every Christian and every local church to join in God’s work to share the good news of Jesus around the world.
By volunteering and using your gifts locally, you can help more people find their place in God’s global plan. Join us to develop your skills, discover more about East Asia and grow as a follower of Jesus. Whether you’re able to captivate a room full of people with a talk, prefer working one-to-one, or serving behind the scenes, there’s a place for you.
Bridge Asia offers a range of roles in each team. These provide structure and enable you to plan your commitment and make the most of your time with us. We’ll help you find the best fit for your personality and skills. The roles include mentoring people one to one, supporting prayer groups and coordinating events.

We also provide high-quality training to support you in your work with us and the resources you need to share about God’s work in East Asia. We provide ongoing mentoring to disciple and develop you as a Bridge Asia team member through our skilled, caring leaders. There are also opportunities to develop your leadership gifts within our teams by supporting and facilitating the work of your fellow volunteers.

- Give 5 to 8 hours a month to their role
- Make the most of our training opportunities
- Attend team meetings once a quarter
- Support one another’s work in the team, where time and experience allow
