About the event
You will not be surprised to hear that following recent UK government advice regarding the COVID-19 pandemic we are postponing our upcoming events the OMF Belfast Breakfast on 4 April.
We would hope that our OMF Ireland Day Conference will go ahead on 26 September but of course this will need to be under review as ‘the situation’ unfolds going forward.
We know that mission today is ‘from everywhere to everywhere’. This means that we in Northern Ireland increasingly need to be open to hearing God speak to us through our brothers and sisters from other parts of the world. We would love you to join us for a light breakfast and to hear about the gospel and mission from an East Asian perspective.
Pastor Henry Lu was born in Xian, China and following high school in Hong Kong moved to the USA where he attended Harvard University. Since 2008 Henry has been the General Director of the Chinese Overseas Christian Mission (COCM), based in England, whose
vision is to ‘reach the Chinese to reach Europe’.
Ho Meas was born into a Buddhist family in Cambodia. In 2002 Ho moved to Japan to do a PhD in Asian Economic History at Hokkaido University where he went on to work as a researcher. Since 2009 Ho
has been involve d in student ministry in Japan with OMF.
If you can come, please let us know beforehand so we can book for
the right numbers. The recommended donation on the day to cover
the cost of breakfast is £5.00.
