Part two of our online course ‘Understanding your East Asian Friends’ (find part 1 here) unpacks important aspects of the East Asian mindset to help us think about how to share the good news of Jesus with East Asians. The course examins how these aspects play out in everyday life. It covers concepts including ‘face’, ‘politeness’, ‘relationships’, ‘indirect communication’ and ‘honor- shame’. We also consider the Asian understanding of the ‘spirit world’.

The course is held online through interactive eLearning modules, allowing you the freedom to work at your own pace within our course dates. A total
time commitment of 6-7 hours is expected for this course.

There is a charge of £25 for the course to cover the costs of running the platform and developing the course materials.
