OMF 的宣教研究部門出版《宣教圓桌論壇》期刊，組織宣教研究會議、與使團各地部門就重要的宣教議題進行溝通，並管理位於新加坡的 OMF 歷史檔案館。

中國內地會—海外基督使團（CIM-OMF）的歷史檔案收藏分散於各地 OMF 中心及以下所列其他機構。
這些保存下來的資料有助於我們理解過去，並提供關於基督教會在東亞地區發展的寶貴歷史見證。檔案中承載著許多關乎神的作為的故事，述說這些故事，正是將榮耀歸給神。

中國內地會於 1875 年 7 月在倫敦發行首期《億萬華民》（China’s Millions）月刊。北美與澳洲版的《億萬華民》則於 1893 年開始出版。1875 至 1935 年間的英國與北美版《億萬華民》掃描版，可於 Internet Archive 與耶魯大學網站免費下載。
