We work in South Thailand about 800km south of Bangkok in a province called Nakhonsrithammaraat. From Brisbane, Australia, Jeff has a background in electronics and software engineering. Belinda was a physiotherapist. We have three sons, Nathan (born October 1998), Matthew (November 2001) and Rowan (November 2004).
We joined OMF Thailand in 2000 and have been working in South Thailand since 2001. Jeff is currently the regional leader for the South Thailand region. We started planting a church in a small coastal town called Paakphanang in 2005. Over the last six years other missionaries and local believers have joined us in this work. The Paakphanang church has now been handed over to local Thai leaders. We continue to help and mentor them as well as beginning a new church plant with their assistance in a new area called Baangjaak.
Jeff enjoys rock climbing and runs twice yearly “Adventure Camps” taking young Thai people rock climbing, kayaking and enjoying the outdoors in Krabi. The young people are challenged to do new things and go beyond their comfort zone physically as well as being challenged to think about Jesus and His call on their lives.
Belinda enjoys coordinating the South Thailand ACT church prayer-counselling team. She and Jeff started this ministry in 2009, inviting senior OMF missionaries to come and train a team of Thai Christians and missionaries in this healing and deliverance ministry. The prayer-counselling team continues to grow and is becoming more effective in seeing Thai people healed of past hurts and set free from current problems.
Both of us have a passion to see Southern Thai people loving Jesus and being changed by Him. As a part of this we long to see the OMF South Thailand team expand as new people join us in seeking God’s kingdom in Southern Thailand.
