It was a cold Melbourne winters’ night when Scott spied Sarah across the church auditorium. ‘Gee, she’s wife material’ he thought to himself. Little did he know that Sarah had also been eyeing him across the auditorium, thinking ‘I’d really like to get to know that rugged man of God a little more’.
And it was from that moment that their paths began to draw nearer and nearer. And their heart for Unreached people groups grew stronger and stronger. They knew this wasn’t about ‘boy meets girl and they live happily ever after’, but ‘boy meets girl and they learn what it means to lay their lives down together’.
So they sought God about their future. One thing was clear: This was to be a match like no other. Following their nuptials, they felt the Lord lead them to visit some church planters working with Unreached people groups, including in Thailand. After praying for an hour for Isaan, over time it became clear that God was calling this dynamic duo to Isaan. And so, following the arrival of their firstborn and heir to the Morrison estate, they boldly traveled to Lopburi where they studied language for a year, before moving to rural Isaan, to make disciples and plant churches that multiply.
