May 2011 Dear Mom, Today we arrived at our “new” home for the year while we are in language school. Our senior missionary was showing us around. When she flipped on the bathroom light, it revealed a good-sized roach crawling up the wall. With speed and purpose, she raised her arm and brought her hand...
Khrieko & Nitho Peseyie along with their children Asese, Vizo and Ajakhriee are from Nagaland, India. They are currently working as church planters in Chatturat, Chaiyaphum province in the Northeast of Thailand.
Both Khrieko and Nitho were born and brought up in Christian families and accepted Jesus as their personal savior when they were young.
Khrieko, after completing his master’s of theology worked as a pastor in a local church whereas Nitho, after completing her bachelor’s in theology worked as a Sunday school teacher and a high school teacher. They both had been praying to God for open doors in order to reach an unreached people group. God in His time answered their prayers and were sent out as SIM (Serving In Missions) missionaries, partnering with OMF Thailand, in the year 2009. They first lived in Lopburi (Central Thailand) for language study and then moved to Khonkean province, Northeast Thailand, and worked there for about 2 years. Currently they are working in Chatturat, one of the districts in Chaiyaphum as church planters. When they moved there, there was no church in the whole district, but praise God, there is a church now. There are 119 villages in that district, and still many villages have to be reached with the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Their immediate neighbouring district, called Nungsanga, needs to be reached with the gospel too.
“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (Luke 10:2)
