Despite having grown up in a Christian family, it was only when Fedora was in her teens that she became a Christian. Just before entering university, her church’s youth group organised a missions trip to Thonburi, Bangkok. Coincidentally, they worked with OMF missionaries. That sparked off Fedora’s interest in missions and in Thailand.
However, Fedora had to first serve her bond with Singapore’s Ministry of Education as a teacher. Immediately after her bond, she served as a Serve Asia worker with OMF in Lampang, teaching English and the Bible.
It took another 6 years before Fedora returned to Thailand with OMF, this time as an Associate. Currently, she works with the urban poor in Bangkok, teaching English and the Bible.
