Anita grew up in Brisbane, Australia and came to faith as a young child. Following God’s leading, she moved to Sydney to work in Community Development and then in Primary Teaching.
A 3 month short-term mission trip to South East Asia in 2006 confirmed a calling to overseas missions. While in Thailand, God laid on her heart a specific burden to share His transforming love and grace with the people there, and gave her a vision to serve long term. However, it was many years of continuing to work, serve in her local church, and complete Bible College before this vision would be realized. During that time, Anita began pursuing a passion she had for supporting kids ‘at risk’ and worked for several years as a school chaplain and in children’s ministry.
Anita joined OMF in 2016 and arrived in Thailand in 2018. After a year of language study in Lopburi, Anita is now living in Bangkok and working with the Urban Poor Ministry Team in the Don Mueang area.
