Go Asia 2024 (May-Aug 2024): The Mission Field Is?

From the home front to where the main action is, the mission field is an ever-changing landscape. Missions is usually defined as doing Christian work in a foreign country.

However, as the world becomes evermore interconnected with diasporic movements and during the pandemic in which overseas travel was severely curtailed, the concept of the ‘mission field’ has evolved – your mission field could be in your own country’s backyard or foreign communities living in your home country.

Regardless of how the mission field has changed or evolved, one common goal still remains: that is, to see transformed communities of East Asian peoples for Jesus, inspiring the next generation for global missions. Some food for thought: What does the mission field mean to you?
