Please join us in prayer this week for the new missionaries that have just arrived in Thailand this weekend:
Heavenly father, we thank you for the new missionaries you have sent to Thailand to be witnesses of your grace and salvation to the Thai people. We pray for the many adjustments they are facing right now and in the coming months. May you give them perseverance to study the language and culture, strength to bear the heat, stomachs that can adjust to the food. But even more to be secure in their identity in Christ when they face everyday life in this new culture – not being able to speak or understand, not knowing how to behave in a culturally appropriate way. Let them look up to you each day – being refreshed by your faithfulness, grace, and presence – rejoicing in being your children and knowing you will lead them one day at a time.
