OMF Thailand works mainly together with the denomination of ACT (Associated churches in Thailand). This coming week the board members of ACT will visit ACT churches in South Thailand and take part in the annual camp where Christians from various ACT South Thailand churches are coming together. This will take place October 11-14 in Yala.
Please join us in prayer for Thailand this week:
– Praise the Lord for the ACT churches in South Thailand
– Pray for these (often small) churches to be salt and light in their communities and beyond
– Pray for the church leaders to seek the Lord’s presence and to have wisdom in leading the churches, enabling members to grow spiritually and in leadership skills (to build up the next generation of leaders)
– Pray for the board members to bring encouragement to the local churches as well as gaining good insight into joys and challenges of the ACT churches in the South
– Pray for safety while travelling to the South and then on the road visiting various churches
– Praise the Lord for the opportunity to get together for the camp and pray that it would be a time of connecting with each other, being encouraged and challenged by God’s word and joyfully praising the Lord together.
– Pray for non-Christian friends who might come along to the camp as well to be touched by the Lord in a way hat brings them a step closer to HIM
