During a recent summer camp, our team encountered a situation that reminded us of the reality of spiritual warfare and the importance of prayer. One student experienced significant spiritual distress, and despite various efforts by family and community members to help, the situation remained unresolved.
This opened the door for meaningful conversations with the student and guardian about the hope, peace, and freedom found in Jesus. Our team was able to share stories from Scripture, including Jesus’ authority over evil spirits, and to point them to him as the source of true deliverance and lasting hope.
We are grateful that the camp was able to continue as planned. Throughout the week, our team regularly encouraged students to trust in God’s power and presence. While some were fearful because of what they had witnessed, others expressed confidence that God is greater than any spiritual force.
This experience highlighted the deep spiritual needs that exist in the community and reminded us of our dependence on prayer. Please pray:

- For hearts to be open to the message of Jesus.
- For protection over students, staff, and ministry activities.
- For wisdom, discernment, and spiritual strength for our team.
- That God would continue to break down spiritual barriers and draw people to himself.
