The floods in Nepal have been shocking, heartbreaking, and absolutely devastating. Two entire villages no longer exist. Reports from a believer in the region say that the few who survived the floods have been evacuated to Kathmandu.
Please pray:
- For rescue efforts: Pray for God’s grace on front-line rescuers as they see the devastation and death firsthand.
- For those who have lost family and friends: Pray that God will meet them in the valley of the shadow of death. Pray that many will come to know him.
- For believers in Nepal: Pray that God will deepen their trust in him. Pray that they will have opportunities to declare the reason for their hope.
Contributions to relief efforts will be available through partnerships with a group of churches in Nepal. They plan to distribute mattresses, tarps, dry food, and personal hygiene products in the relief areas. They will focus on the smaller regions that are less likely to receive government attention.
