Job Description

Start Date: January 01, 2025
End Date: December 31, 2025

Canada is a land of immigrants – we have people from different parts of East Asia who are here as immigrants, refugees, international students and foreign workers.

The role of a CEA Coordinator is to connect and engage with these ethnic communities, come alongside of them to nurture an indigenous biblical church movement, and eventually empower them to be a cross-cultural missionary sending force.

Please note this opportunity is only for those who live and serve in Canada

Responsibilities
  • Actively identify, develop and maintain solid ministry relationships with East Asian peoples and the communities that are already engaged with them.
  • Help identify and develop networks with other organizations doing similar ministry, in order to learn and work together.
  • Build a team of volunteers for the people groups he/she is reaching out to
  • Undertake research projects focused on East Asian Peoples in Canada
Qualifications

A First Degree or a recognized Certificate/Diploma in any discipline

Living Situations
  • Ability to speak at least one East Asian language on top of English
  • Culturally adaptable
  • Extensive network in immigrant communities
  • Team spirit
  • Servant-Leader
