What a joy it was to share the Christmas message with these children who live in one of the slum areas of Bangkok. Our team run a weekly children’s club in the area where they come alongside these children and show them the love of Jesus.
We had hoped that some of the parents of these children would attend the Christmas outreach, but sadly none did. But even though it was only the kids, we were blessed to have a couple from our church there to share the good news with these children and show them the love of Jesus. It was encouraging for the kids to interact with a Thai couple who are Christian and see that it is not just foreigners who are Christians.
The children had a lot of fun and were taught the real meaning of Christmas as they sang Christmas carols and acted out the nativity play.
Please pray for these children to grasp the significance of who Jesus is and for their love of Jesus to impact their lives.
