Hope to the poorest

It’s been a year since I met some children in Bangkok’s urban poor communities.

When I first visited the slums, the children were wary of this strange man and did not approach me readily, but now, a year later, they approach me without hesitation and are happy telling me their stories.
When I asked the children where they wanted to go most, they said KFC. We visited together, and one child said it was the first time he had ever been to KFC (or any fast food like it) in his life. What is everyday life to some is very special to these friends ….
Although it is a difficult situation, those ministering in these areas still move forward, believing in God’s work for this area.

A few weeks ago, in celebration of Easter, I was able to package boiled eggs with the children and spread the news of the resurrection of Jesus Christ to the neighbors. I hope that these children will bring hope to a land where there is currently very little!
