“Hello’s” and “Goodbyes”

Being a missionary means there are a lot of ‘hello’s and goodbyes’.

You get to meet many new people, which is a joy, but it’s hard to farewell them!

Mark and Anne-Marie Bak serving in Central Thailand share: “Through many years, our family has hosted numerous Serve Asia Workers (SAW’s). Some for a couple of months, some for a year. We enjoyed being part of their lives and involving them in our lives as well. The sad part was seeing them leave once their Serve Asia time was done.

“Last week there was a ‘hello’ again: One of the SAW’s who helped our family with homeschooling in 2015-2016 came to visit us here in Thailand! It was a joy to meet up with her again after all those years and to meet her husband. We rejoiced in the Lord to hear about their plans to go into missions in Asia!”

Could God be calling you to get a taste for missions as a Serve Asia Worker?
