From Distress to Faith: A Thai family’s journey to Christ

Mrs. N and her husband were in desperate financial distress. N’s brother, a Christian, told her that her only hope was to seek God’s help. So she came to the Bible Seminary and asked for the Christian “monk”, hoping to get help.

What transpired was a number of visits to their home and business and culminated with N, K and their daughter coming to Christ and getting rid of the relics of their previous belief system.

However, the 22 year old son still has one whole wall of their house filled with pictures and relics of his faith in other deities.

Many people in Thailand turn to Christ when they see his power over other spirits, or illnesses, etc. It then is still a long way to accept the truth of God’s word and to submit to Christ as the Lord of their lives.
