May 11th was Visakha Bucha Day in Thailand. It’s one of the most important days on the Buddhist calendar, commemorating the birth, enlightenment, and death of the Buddha—all said to have happened on the same full moon day.
Temples are filled with people making merit, giving offerings, and walking in candlelit processions. It’s a day deeply rooted in devotion, reflection, and seeking a better path. As Christians, days like this are reminders of the spiritual hunger that exists all around us. We see people longing for peace, wisdom, and freedom from suffering—desires that only Jesus can ultimately fulfill.
Pray that the light of Christ would shine brightly here, and that those searching for truth would encounter the One who is worthy of our devotion, the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
