Pray for continuing focus on our strategic ministry plan, which primarily focuses on engaging the Canadian Church both to support work among East Asian Diaspora in Canada, and to recognize overseas missions among East Asia’s peoples . We thank God for a vibrant engagement with many East Asian churches, and continue to look for ways to engage even more.

Pray for the many events this month where OMF will be in attendance: Missions Fest Seattle, Global Missions Health Conference, Mission ConneXion Southwest, International Conference on Mission, and Perspectives Courses. We pray that we can help discern and answer questions from attendees about their potential role in missions.

Pray for the Netherlands. Fewer people than before are attending church, and the collective vision for global missions is declining somewhat. Pray for God’s Holy Spirit to revive the church’s passion for the lost and lonely.

“6 Ways to Reach God’s World” has been a theme through workshops, preaching and Arts & Missions this fall. It reverberates with young and old alike. Pray for our churches to get more and more of their people happily engaged in one of the 6 Ways: Pray, Send, Go, Learn, Welcome, and Mobilize.

Pray for the search process for a new OMF NL National Director to start in 2025. Pray for wisdom, discernment, and God’s guidance for the National Director search committee.

Pray for wisdom as we meet new pastors and talk about their church involvement in missions. We want to use our coaching and training to listen well, ask good questions and use our resources to bless them and make their jobs a little easier.

Pray for OMF Australia’s National Conference in Sydney next year from March 15-17. There is much to plan and prepare for. Pray for a sufficiently skilled and resourced team to run the event and for many people to come and be blessed.

Pray for the logistics and provision for several OMF members wanting to join the Beyond Borders ministry in the U.S. after their Home Assignments. Pray for God’s wisdom as we all consider what their ministry focus and activities will be. Pray for their families going through re-settling transitions in new places.
