Volunteer and Career Opportunities
with OMF Canada

God has given OMF International a heart for Asia and the desire to bring His hope to billions. Growing out of the same passion God placed in the heart of our founder, Hudson Taylor, OMF International has been serving the people of East Asia with the love of Christ for 150 years. OMF International furthers that purpose through mobilizing new workers and partners for God’s harvest field, while supporting those already serving. Note: Most of these jobs require the applicant to raise support to cover ministry costs of salary and other costs.

We are currently seeking quality candidates for the following position(s):

Inquiries and resumes can be sent to Wayne Matthews.

Prairie Region Mobilizer

OMF Canada is currently seeking a quality candidate for the position of Prairie Region Mobilizer. This person will oversee the work of OMF Canada in the Prairie Region of Canada with the view of helping to fulfill OMF Canada’s mission: “To glorify God, we inspire and enable Canadian Christians to participate in the intentional evangelization of East Asia’s peoples”. The Mobilizer will reside in the region and will give oversight to OMF matters in the Prairie Region including mobilization, working with inquirers, and interacting with our partner churches, bible schools, and other mission organizations.

Note: This is a ministry position. Those interested must apply to be a member of OMF and raise prayer and financial support.

OMF Canada is thankful for the many volunteers that help us in so many ways in the regions and the National Office. Why not consider joining a local ministry team to help in a way that is suited to your gifts, interest, and the amount of time you have? This would not only bless us but be a blessing to you.

Administrative Assistance

We are currently looking for a volunteer to help our Mobilization team with a variety of administrative tasks related to our Serve Asia (short-term team) ministry. These will include things such as working with team leaders to develop trip budgets, distributing and revising application packages, tracking and processing donations, checking applications for completion of requirements, collecting assessment and debriefing forms, and more! You will also have the chance to help plan events, produce and distribute promotional materials, and provide travel assistance (e.g. buy tickets, book hotels, etc.). This position is ideal for an early retiree but we welcome anyone with past administrative experience and a desire to contribute to God’s Kingdom in a meaningful way!
