Hazuki worked hard to prepare our lunch in Cafe Iris as we stopped to pray for the cafe and the church it is attached to. Later that evening she was teaching the church children a fun, new song and a story from the Bible. The income she receives from her part-time cafe work is supplemented by OMF to allow her to serve in the church and gain experience of church ministry work.
OMF Japan’s Apprentice Fund is a project that helps support ministry interns and workers who have chosen part-time jobs to allow them to give more time to serving in the local church.
For more information on the Apprentice Fund see the OMF Japan Projects page—omf.org/japan-projects

Will you pray for Japan?
- Give thanks for Japanese people like Hazuki, who wish to serve in the church.
- Pray for those who are supported by the Apprentice Fund and the work they do.
- Pray that more people will feel called to serve in Japanese churches.
