Journey to mission
Our journey to mission started with short-term mission trips to Thailand in 1993. Jeff went with an Australian Baptist team early in that year and Belinda went later with an OMF team. We were really impacted by the need for Thais to hear the good news about Jesus.
Our ministry so far
We began serving with OMF in Thailand in 2000. Highlights of our ministry so far are:
- Planting a church in Pak Phanang, Nakhon Si Thammarat province.
- Being regional leaders of the team in South Thailand from 2008 until 2022.
- Adventure camp ministry, an evangelistic outreach aimed at teenagers and young adults.
- Prayer ministry brining freedom and inner healing to many.
We have engaged in mission from our home town of Brisbane since mid-2023. Jeff has been doing digital ministry, including social media outreach and work on the OMF Thailand website, as well as 2-3 trips to Thailand each year to run adventure camps.
Next steps
We hope to return to Thailand in 2028. We will be involved in training in the areas of church planting, prayer ministry and leadership, as well as continuing in the adventure camp and online outreach ministries.
Pray for Jeff and Belinda
- Pray that many will see the social media outreach ads and seek to know more about Jesus.
- Pray for on-going development of the Thai Adventure Camp teams in South Thailand, Central Thailand and North-East Thailand. Pray that this ministry will bring many to faith in Christ.
- Pray for God to open the way for us to return to live in Thailand in 2028 and for a suitable international school for our youngest son, Steven.
- Pray that all in our family will continue to grow in faith, hope and love!
