While exploring what missions might look like for them, Jason and Cindy saw a video on Japan, highlighting the spiritual needs of the second largest unreached people group in the world. They felt God calling them to Japan. They prayed, went on a short-term mission trip and attended theological college in preparation to serve long term.
In 2023, after 10 years of preparation and the addition of 3 children, they finally landed in the land of the rising sun. The first 2 years were spent learning the language and culture. In 2025, they started serving in a church planted by OMF, in Hiragishi, a city of approximately 54,000 people with very few Christians.
Jason and Cindy long to see Japanese people come to know Jesus and see the church grow in discipleship and evangelism.

Pray for Jason and Cindy
- Pray for deep friendships and relationships with Japanese people. That Jason and Cindy (and their children) will be faithful witnesses of Jesus.
- Pray that those who hear the gospel will have hearts and ears ready to hear and receive the good news.
- Pray for God to strengthen His church in Japan. For Japanese Christians to have boldness, courage and opportunities to witness to their families and friends.
- Pray for a close walk with the Lord, a strong and fruitful marriage and for our children to grow up loving and serving the Lord.
