God has orchestrated our journeys differently to each other, but we share a love for the beautiful and complex cultures in East Asia and want to be a part of inviting them into the kingdom. In His wisdom God may use any of the skills and passions He has already given us to further His mission—an engineer and a bicycle enthusiast, a teacher and a creative.
Serving on the Silk Road
God has been shaping us through books, study, and timely relationships to be preparing for ministry to people groups living along the Silk Road. We want to be obedient to Jesus and share the treasure of the gospel with those who haven’t heard the good news. As we live day-to-day alongside people in our community, we hope to see our new neighbors and friends join a local body of Christians to glorify God.
Pray for Caleb and Hadassah*
- Praise God for the long history of His faithful work along the Silk Road, and for the way He has brought co-workers from across the world to share the fullness of the gospel.
- Pray for the Lord to sustain His people through persecution and shame by helping them grasp their eternal hope in Christ.
- Give thanks for the change God has been working in us towards serving in East Asia. May He continue to guide, grow and equip us for the task He has prepared for us.
- Pray for our family as we juggle various commitments and caring for our young children. Pray for deep love for each other, and that our children may come to know Jesus as Lord.
